Jewells, a new jewellery and body art brand founded by Lovisa creator Brett Bundy, has announced the opening of its first store in Northern England, selecting Eldon Square in Newcastle as its launch location.
Targeting a young, fashion-forward female audience, the 1,000 sq ft store will be situated next to Molton Brown and will feature an extensive range of jewellery alongside luxury piercing and fine line tattoo services. The debut forms part of a wider growth strategy for Jewells, which has ambitious expansion plans over the coming year.
Leah Uka, Chief Brand Officer at Jewells, commented:
“We are absolutely delighted to open one of our first-ever stores at Eldon Square – a location that perfectly aligns with our brand values. As a vibrant, well-loved destination in the heart of Newcastle, it offers an ideal setting to introduce Jewells to the North East.”
Eldon Square has recently seen a flurry of high-profile leasing activity, including the opening of the North East’s flagship Sephora, and the announcements of Flight Club and Freight Island as incoming leisure attractions.
Matthew Beddow, Senior Director at Pradera Lateral, said:
“Jewells’ choice of Eldon Square for its Northern debut reinforces our position as a premier destination for both established and emerging brands. Their unique offering brings a fresh and elevated experience to our jewellery and accessories category.”
Jewells’ arrival reflects both the evolving retail landscape and growing demand for experience-driven shopping in the region.
